Integrity

by Zeke Flores

"If a man makes a vow to Yahweh ... he shall not violate his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth" (Numbers 30:2).

Numbers 30 emphasizes integrity. When someone made a vow, God expected them to keep it. Their words mattered. Their commitments reflected their character.

We live in a world where promises are often broken. Commitments are treated lightly. But God calls us to be people of integrity. Our words should be trustworthy. Our commitments should be steady.

This doesn’t mean we need to make big vows; it means we should be faithful in the small things. Following through on what we say. Being honest. Keeping our word even when it’s inconvenient.

Integrity builds trust. It honors God. It strengthens relationships.

Ask God to help you be faithful in your words and actions today.
