Search Options
We have several ways to search for information on the Scriptures.
Use quotes around phrases to get exact word order. The editor of this site spells out the books of the Bible, so don't use abbreviations to find a passage. Roman numerals are used for First (I), Second (II), and Third (III) in book names. Thus, "II Chronicles 4:11" works better than "2Chr. 4:11".
Search Using This Site's Engine
Our site's search engine is thorough, but it looks for exact word matches. So, if a different form of a word is used, it might not find the article or page. It isn't extremely fast. Search Using Google's Engine
Google's search engine is fast and capable of finding synonyms, so precise wording isn't necessary. However, Google does include ads in the results. We don't have control over the ads that are shown.
Search Multiple Sites
We maintain a list of church websites similar to La Vista's website. You can use Google's engine to search just those sites.
Search Multiple Sites (Seek Ye First)
There is another list of related websites called "Seek Ye First" that you can use to find material. We don't control what sites are listed, but it is a good collection.
