God doesn’t want you to change

Question:

It's not about wearing clothes its about doing everything in society so that you match your body in human form. God doesn't care if you wear clothes or what clothes. He just wants you to be you. Don't ever change. Just be yourself. Thanks for trying.

Just so much wrong out there. Find your divine purpose and be true to yourself. Let's start there.

Answer:

Notice the confident assertion of what God thinks without reference to what God has said. Far too many people believe God thinks as they would think.

"Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the LORD, and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. 'For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,' declares the LORD. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts'" (Isaiah 55:6-9).

In reality, the god they worship is a figment of their imagination. In truth, they worship themselves.

Isaiah not only tells us that God is not like man, but He also calls for man to change and become more like Him. The idea that God accepts everyone just as they are may be comforting, but it is false. This person wants Christians to change and be like him. In other words, he doesn't believe staying as you are is acceptable if it is different from his own personal beliefs. However, he can't conceive of his own need to change.

"'Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, each according to his conduct,' declares the Lord GOD. 'Repent and turn away from all your transgressions, so that iniquity may not become a stumbling block to you. Cast away from you all your transgressions which you have committed and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! For why will you die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,' declares the Lord GOD. 'Therefore, repent and live'" (Ezekiel 18:30-32).

Does God care if people are clothed? He cared enough to make Adam and Eve clothing (Genesis 3:21).
