Are Christians only allowed to talk to Christians?

Question:

Hello,

Does the Bible say that we're not allowed to talk to anyone who's not a Christian? If so, what happens if a Christian does talk to someone who's not a Christian?

Thanks!

Answer:

I'm scratching my head trying to figure out where such an idea could possibly come from. It would be impossible to fulfill Christ's command to teach if we were not allowed to talk to non-Christians. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19).

You see the apostles talking to all sorts of non-Christians throughout the book of Acts.

Response:

Yeah, I was kind of thinking in the same direction. If the Lord tells us to teach others to be Christians, then wouldn't we need to speak to them in the very beginning first?
