What is the difference between spiritual gifts and miraculous gifts?

Question:

Could you give me information that points to the differences between spiritual gifts and miraculous gifts?

Answer:

Spiritual gifts refer to the gifts given by the Holy Spirit. They usually refer to the miraculous gifts as explained in I Corinthians 12. These gifts were not given to every Christian and were given only for a limited time (I Corinthians 13:8-10).

There are other gifts that Paul talked of in Romans 12:6-8. Some of these were miraculous, but most were talents or abilities given by God to be put to use in service to God. Again, the point Paul makes is that the gifts are not distributed evenly.

There there is the gift (singular) of the Spirit mentioned in Acts 2:38-39 which refers to the gift of salvation (Ephesians 1:13-14). This gift is distributed to all Christians evenly.
