Then God Remembered
by Zeke Flores
Genesis 30:22 says, "Then God remembered Rachel." That doesn’t mean He forgot her; it means He acted on her behalf at the right time. Rachel had watched her sister have child after child while she waited, prayed, cried, and probably wondered if God cared.
Waiting can feel like abandonment, especially when you see others receiving what you’ve been praying for. But Rachel’s story reminds us that God’s timing isn’t neglect; it’s wisdom. He knows when the moment is right.
When God “remembers” you, it’s not sudden awareness, it’s intentional action. He moves when the story is ready for the next chapter.
If you’re in a long wait, don’t assume God is silent or indifferent. He remembers you. He knows your desires, your tears, your prayers. And when the time is right, He knows exactly how to open the door. Be ready for it.
"Then God remembered Rachel, and God gave heed to her ..." (Genesis 30:22).
