Is using a VPN wrong?

Question:

Hello,

I've seen that you answer practical questions from people. I've been struggling with a dilemma about using a VPN to evade geographical restrictions imposed by the commercial blockade on Cuba. I'm working on a website for affiliate marketing. I didn't consider the VPN, but that started to resonate with me because I decided to put my life in order before God, so I could deal with the difficulty of the law. Although I'm giving a location that is not the real one, which would be lying, I also consider that I'm not harming anyone with this. Well, the services I have to pay for are paid for, and so on. Can you help me understand whether I should do it or not? Whether it would be wrong or not.

Thank you, I look forward to your response.

Answer:

I'm not a lawyer, so you should check. I found exceptions to the embargo, including some internet businesses. Also, it is possible to get a license to do business. We must abide by government policies that don't violate God's laws (Romans 13:1-6).

Looking at a moral decision based on whether you perceive harm is inaccurate. We are too short-sighted to see all the implications of a decision. We have to trust that God knows best, and we have to trust Him.

Response:

Ok, thank you. God bless you
