I. The Earth from Without Form and Void to Beautiful

Genesis 1:2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Genesis 1:31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time.

II. David's Life Broken by His Sins

II Samuel 11:2-5 Then it happened one evening that David arose from his bed and walked on the roof of the king's house. And from the roof he saw a woman bathing, and the woman was very beautiful to behold.3 So David sent and inquired about the woman. And someone said, "Is this not Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?"4 Then David sent messengers, and took her; and she came to him, and he lay with her, for she was cleansed from her impurity; and she returned to her house.5 And the woman conceived; so she sent and told David, and said, "I am with child."

IV. From Mankind's Ugliest Most Wicked Moment to the Greatest Expression of Love

Matthew 27:24-31 When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, "I am innocent of the blood of this iust Person. You see to it."25 And all the people answered and said,"His blood be on us and on our children."26 Then he released Barabbas to them; and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified.27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole garrison around Him.28 And they stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him.29 When they had twisted a crown of thorns. they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand. And they bowed the knee before Him and mocked Him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!"30 Then they spat on Him, and took the reed and struck Him on the head.31 And when they had mocked Him, they took the robe off Him, put His own clothes on Him, and led Him away to be crucified.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

V. From a Sinner Dead in Sins to a Child of God

I Corinthians 6:9-11 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived.
