Your answer regarding struggling against “fooling around” was just what I needed to know

Question:

Hello!

I don't know your name, but I read a response you gave on the La Vista Church of Christ web site about a boy struggling with "fooling around" with his girlfriend and what God says in the Bible about it and some strategies to turn around, and I just wanted to thank you. My boyfriend and I are struggling with that exact thing, and I'm going to see him today and show him that article. Both of us desperately want to stop, but sin is always hard to stop.

If you get this, would you mind praying for us? Again, I gratefully appreciate your loving, yet truth-filled response!

Answer:

This is why answers to questions are posted. From the very start of this site it has been my belief that if one person asks a question, there are thousands of others with the same question, but not bold enough to ask or know where to find a good answer. I'm glad the answer is helping you and if you have other questions, please feel free to ask.

"No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it" (I Corinthians 10:13).
