Why would God want me to live with a man who cheats, is irresponsible, and uses weed?

Question:

My husband cheats, doesn't pay the bills, brings women into my kids and my home that I pay for, and takes the money I have left after bills for weed. If God loves me, why would He want me to live like this? I can't even drive myself in my car to work. A man is supposed to provide for his home, not the woman. He lives there regardless if we listen and bow or not.

Answer:

It has nothing to do with your perceived happiness. "And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery" (Matthew 19:9). Since your husband is committing adultery (sexual sins) and had no remorse about it, then you can divorce him and marry someone who will honor a marriage covenant.

The only reason you are in this situation is that you have let it continue, so why are you blaming God?
