The Spirit Bears Witness

Whenever we listen to the Scriptures, we are hearing what the Spirit says to us (Hebrews 3:7-11). Through the Scriptures, we hear the Spirit bear witness to us (Hebrews 10:15-17). When we resist what the Scriptures say, we are resisting the Holy Spirit (Acts 7:48-51). Thus, to neglect the Bible is to neglect hearing and communing with the Holy Spirit.

Hear what the Spirit says. Revelation 2:7,11,17,29; 3:6,13,22. Don't try to imagine what you think He would say. Go right to His revealed and confirmed word! (Ephesians 3:3-5).
