Shouldn't we follow God's rules in the Old Testament as well as the New Testament? (I'm reading the Bible currently, and I'm only in Joshua right now.) I mean, well, some of the rules would be considered kind of illegal, such as sacrificing your first born child. I could not do that even if it was legal. I'd also really prefer to not circumcise any possible future sons I may have. And yes, I know that God's laws are more important than man's laws, but it makes it difficult. I never hear of anyone following the Old Testament laws. Is it because few people seem to like the Old Testament and seem to just write it off? I think that God's word is perfect and timeless. Still, I just don't know what to do!
While you argue that people should follow the Old Testament laws, yet you simultaneously state that you wouldn't follow all of them. Such an argument is inconsistent on your part. (By the way, child sacrifices are against God's law, even in the Old Testament.)
