Jesus and Miracles

When Jesus finished preaching his now-famous Sermon on the Mount, the people were astonished. Now Matthew collects a series of events in the life of Jesus that included various miracles.
In these chapters, Matthew shows the demonstration of Jesus' authority – the right to command and control. Such was displayed in his teaching as they marveled. Now it will be demonstrated with signs and wonders that confirmed Him as the Son of God. If you have never contemplated this section of the gospel record, you too will stand in awe. Just read and imagine you were there, standing in the very presence of Jesus and witnessing these events with your own eyes.

Authority Over Sickness and Disease
