After reading my Bible heavily for years, I now realize that I’m no longer a Baptist

Question:

Isn't this wonderful? I was raised in a Baptist Church and have attended that church all my life. I started in 1985 to read the Bible more than anyone I know. I woke up about six months ago and realized I am no longer Baptist. I now believe as you do in almost if not all points of doctrine.

The Lord bless you.

Answer:

Old-timers used to say that the crop you get depends on the seed that you sow. The Bible, unadulterated, produces Christians. It isn't odd at all that two people who use the Bible as their sole standard will end up believing the same things.

"Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment" (I Corinthians 1:10).
