I wanted to let you know your work is not in vain
Question:
Hello,
I hope you are doing well. I’m reaching out just to say thank you.
I’ve been a born-again believer living in a Buddhist country for several years now, and I spend a lot of my time studying the Bible. Today was the third time I’ve gone through the Gospel of John, and when I reached John 6:65, I noticed something I had never seen in all these years.
Everything I saw here pointed toward predestination, but deep in my heart, something didn't feel right about it. I spent days searching for answers, going through my commentaries, reading online resources, trying to understand that verse. Yet nothing truly satisfied my heart. It felt like something was still missing.
Finally, I stopped trying to figure it out on my own. I sat down and prayed, asking the Lord, “Please help me understand what You mean here.”
About five minutes later (I’m not lying), I came across your Bible study on that very verse. I cannot fully explain it, but I was literally shaking while reading it. What may seem like a small thing to others meant so much to me, because for me, this question touches the very heart of the gospel, especially since I have many unbelieving family members whom I love and pray for every day.
In that moment, I truly felt that the Lord led me to your teaching. I just want you to know that your work is not in vain. Even here, God is using it to help someone understand His Word more clearly.
Thank you, thank you, and thank you.
