Written Reminders

"You shall write on the stones all the words of this law very distinctly" (Deuteronomy 27:8).
Israel was to set up stones with the law written clearly. The point was visibility and clarity. God’s instruction wasn’t meant to be hidden or vague to serve as clear instruction.
Moses wanted the people to encounter God’s words regularly and plainly. No ambiguity. No confusion. Truth should be accessible and plain.
In your life, clarity matters. If you want God’s word to shape you, make it visible. Put it where you’ll see it. Keep it clear. Don’t let it fade into the background. It’s not just about keeping your Bible in plain sight; it’s about living its precepts in an obvious way. That helps you and the people who see you.
