Would it be wrong to major in dance?

Hello. I've danced since I was young. I mean artful dance like ballet, lyrical, contemporary, and such. I've been a Christian since the age of 12. I am not in college, but I wanted to ask would a major in dance be bad? Is it a sin?

The questions you have to ask yourself are:
- Can you participate in this industry and dress decently?
- Are the movements done respectable or do they imply sensuality?
From what I've seen and heard, I think the honest answer to those questions is "only sometimes." The dancer doesn't control the costuming or choreography, and a dancer who insists on standards usually finds herself without work. The pressure then is high to compromise principles in order to put food on the table. It is not a situation I would recommend.
