When I confess and repent, will my relationship with God be restored?
Question:
If I pray to God and tell Him I know what I did was wrong, and I know I did it a few times, but I will never do it again, then will my relationship with God be good as long as I repent?
Answer:
When you accept that you are no longer that weak-willed person who gave into sexual sins for the pleasure, then you will find your relationship with God will be stronger than it was before. Overcoming trials is a part of strengthening us and maturing us (James 1:2-4).
