Thank you for placing your emphasis on the soul of man

Greetings La Vista Church of Christ!

I'm a fellow minister in the church of Christ. I was doing some Bible study and was looking up what a broom tree looks like and find a link to your page on the google website. Because I'm curious, I looked at your home page and read your statement there.

I want to thank you for being a church that realizes that a full belly does not get a person to heaven. Too many churches have bought into the idea that enough humanitarian aid will save the world. It won't, and it's exactly what Jesus said in John 6:27. The only way to salvation is through Jesus Christ (John 14:6; I Timothy 2:5-6). Thank you for placing your emphasis on the soul of man and the eternal destiny in which he is en route.

Keep preaching the word (II Timothy 4:2) always!
