Shaped by Difficulties

"And the child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. And she named him Moses, and said, 'Because I drew him out of the water'" (Exodus 2:10).
Moses’ story starts with a mix of heartbreak and hope. His mother has to let him go to save him. Pharaoh’s daughter raises him in the very palace that ordered his death. Nothing about this looks neat or predictable. Yet God is weaving purpose through every messy thread.
Sometimes God’s work in your life doesn’t look like a straight line. It looks like detours, delays, and situations that feel unfair or confusing. Moses wasn’t where anyone expected him to be, but he was exactly where God needed him to be. God was preparing him long before Moses ever understood his calling.
You might be in a time when your story feels wrong. Maybe you’re not where you thought you’d be. Maybe the path feels strange or even disappointing. But God is not improvising, He’s shaping you through every unexpected turn. Moses’ early life reminds us that God often prepares us in places we never would have chosen. Trust that He’s doing the same with you.
