Peer Pressure

Peer pressure is tough.

We are naturally inclined to be liked, even by those we don’t know. That inclination might give way to a compromise in values just so we won’t get any flak for being different.

But we are different. If you’re a Christian, you serve a different Ruler, you live by a different set of rules, and you have a different destiny. Yes, you live to please Someone else, but it’s not the people of this world.

Let's be more concerned with what God thinks about us than what people do. Not that we should be rude or obnoxious, but "we should obey God rather than men" (Acts 5:29).
