Is the end of time drawing near?

From the signs in the Bible, is the end of time drawing near

Bible is quite clear that there will be no advance warning as to when the end of the world will come. Jesus, Himself, stated, "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be" (Matthew 24:36-39). I have always found it amazing that people will flock to a person who claims to know when the world will end when even the Son of God stated that He did not know when the end would be. Anyone who claims to know when Judgment Day will come is plainly lying.

Paul also stated the same thing. "For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape" (I Thessalonians 5:2-3). How many know when will be the next time that they are robbed? If you live in a rough neighborhood, you might predict that you are likely to be rob, but rarely does any know when the robbery will take place in advance. "Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect" (Matthew 24:42-44).

Generally, when you find people pointing to the Bible, declaring that signs are appearing, they are using the signs given for other events, such as the destruction of Jerusalem or the first coming of Christ and applying these signs to the end of the world.

A Christian must be ready at all times for the sudden arrival of Christ. We will not have a chance to make last-minute preparations.
