If people are in a wrongful marriage, should they divorce in order to repent?

I read your article, and I am asking if the people in this wrongful marriage with children should get a divorce in order to repent and go to Heaven?
Answer:
"What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?" (Romans 6:1-2).
If a relationship is sinful, continuing it doesn't change it to something right. The fact that someone compounded the problem by bringing innocent children into the middle of it doesn't change the morality of the relationship either. People have children outside of wedlock constantly these days, the presence of children doesn't excuse the fornication.
