I want my friend to be saved but she isn’t listening

Question:

Sir,

Keep up the good work.

I want my friend to be saved. She is falling away from Jesus Christ constantly and she is only fifteen! She knows the truth, but she just does not want to listen. She is falling away like Sodom and Gomorrah!

My question is who are the two witnesses?

I am doing everything I can to make her get saved! I even post videos! Pray for her, please. She needs her eyes to be open.

Thank you so much.

I am going to make a video on Judgment: Understanding Luke 17:20-37!

God bless you! May God the Father reward you much! Bye!

Answer:

It is wonderful that you care about your friend and that you are putting in so much effort to help her reach heaven. However, you can't make someone receive salvation. After all, God wants everyone saved. "The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance" (II Peter 3:9). He has expended more effort than can be imagined toward that goal. And, yet, Jesus tells us that only a relatively few are actually going to be saved. "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it" (Matthew 7:13-14).

Don't give up on her, but also realize that she must make up her own mind. Meanwhile, don't limit yourself to helping just one person. "Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest" (John 4:35). You are doing this with your videos because they reach more people than just your friend.
