Does God want us to ask questions?

Question:

Does God want us to ask questions?

Answer:

God invites people to ask good, honest questions. " "Come now, and let us reason together," says the LORD" (Isaiah 1:18). Christianity is taught by reasoning with people, which implies answering people's questions. "As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and proving that the Christ had to suffer and rise from the dead. "This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Christ," he said" (Acts 17:2-3). God invites questions because in answering questions there is an opportunity to learn. " "Present your case," says the LORD. "Bring forth your strong reasons," says the King of Jacob" (Isaiah 41:21). Why? The answer is found in the verse before: "That they may see and know, and consider and understand together, that the hand of the LORD has done this, and the Holy One of Israel has created it" (Isaiah 41:20).

The asking of questions is rarely the problem. Problems come when people do not wish to listen to the answers.
