Would the Exodus have been a two-week walk?

Also, in Deuteronomy 8:2, I heard that same preacher say that it should have been a two-week walk for their travel from Egypt, but it took them 40 years instead. A two-week walk?
Answer:
For one person or a nation? It took three months to get from Egypt to Sinai (Exodus 19:1-2). And then God had them spend nearly two years there before heading to Canaan (Numbers 10:11). All of this was before the 40 years of wandering. See: "How long did the exodus from Egypt take?"
