As I was researching the book of Ruth on your church's website, I noticed a reference in the text to verse 14 of the first chapter of the book: "Then they lifted up their voices and wept again; and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, and Ruth clung to her (Ruth 1:14)." This is an NIV translation that I really like. But when you read the same book on the Internet, the browser mechanically translates the word "clung" as "remained." Of course, it may be a matter of what year the translation version is used, but the one on your website is extremely rare.

Google's translation engine provides translations of this website's pages. I don't control its accuracy. The verse you were looking at was cited from the New King James Version.
Each Bible reference links to BibleLink, which Crossway Bibles operates. Clicking on the link takes you to their page, where you can choose a translation. They have a large number of translations in many languages. Unfortunately, the automatic creation of Bible links only works in the English translation.
