Thank you for explaining where the other people came from in Genesis 4:14

I just want to say thank you for your explanation of Genesis 4:14. I was reading today and thought, "What other people?"  It was nice to see some proof as to what could have happened to cause Cain's line of thinking. It is very hard to think people lived so long, but it must be.
