Recreational Use of Marijuana Approved in Two States

As predicted, the push for legalizing marijuana under the guise of medical need was merely a rouse to get recreational use legalized. Both Colorado and Washington have voted to legalize the use of marijuana in their states so long as the drug is bought and used within their borders. Whether this lasts will be up to the federal government, which continues to maintain that marijuana use is illegal.

The article does mention that Amsterdam, which has legalized recreational drug use, is trying to restrict the trade because of the problems it has caused them.

Also mentioned: Bolivia is threatening to abandon the U.N. Convention on Narcotics because it wants the use of coca leaves legalized. Cocaine is made from coca leaf extracts.

Sin remains progressive. Unopposed, it always increases. "But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived" (II Thessalonians 3:13).

"Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation" (I Thessalonians 5:6-8).
