Quiet Obedience

by Zeke Flores

"Now Bazalel made the ark of acacia wood" (Exodus 37:1).

This verse seems simple, but it marks the beginning of something sacred. Bezalel isn’t just building furniture; he’s building the place where God’s presence will rest. And he starts with obedience. Quiet, steady obedience.

Sometimes the most meaningful things in your life begin with small, faithful steps. Not dramatic moments. Not emotional highs. Just showing up and doing what God has asked you to do.

Bezalel doesn’t get a spotlight speech. He just gets to work, and God uses his hands to create something holy.

This is a reminder that your faithfulness in the ordinary matters. The way you serve. The way you work. The way you show up. God can take simple obedience and turn it into something sacred.

Think about the tasks in your life that feel small or unnoticed. They might be more significant than you realize. When you offer your work to God, He can use it in ways you never expected and you’ll find glory n the ordinary.
