If a woman has surgery to become a man, does God see her as a male or a female?

Question:

I have written to you before and was well satisfied with your answer. I believe you do a wonderful work on this site for God. My question is: We were discussing Chasity Bono at work, who is about to have surgery to become a man. As far as we know she has been living in a lesbian relationship. After she has this surgery will she be seen as a man in God's eyes or still a female as she was born? If she is seen as male, will she be able to marry and be right in God's eyes? Your answer will be greatly appreciated!

Answer:

"A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman's garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the LORD your God" (Deuteronomy 22:5).

If this person committed a crime and the DNA evidence were examined, would the investigator conclude that it was done by a man or a woman? Regardless of the changes made, Chasity will remain the same as she was born. All she will have done is disguised herself as a man, and God clearly has stated that He finds such action disgusting. After all, it was God who set Chasity's gender, but Chasity is stating through her actions that God made a mistake -- which He didn't. She is not content to live life as God gave it to her.

So, the answer to the next question is also "no." Chasity cannot marry a woman because she is still a woman.
