I Will Go with You

by Zeke Flores

In Genesis 46:3-4, God tells Jacob, "Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt ... I will go down with you." This is a powerful reminder that God’s presence is not tied to geography. Jacob is leaving the land of promise, yet God assures him that His presence travels with His people.

This reveals something essential about God’s nature. He is not confined to only the sacred spaces. He accompanies His people into unfamiliar territory. Jacob is stepping into a foreign land, but he is not stepping away from God’s care.

This truth steadies us when life leads us into unexpected places. New seasons, transitions, and uncertainties can feel intimidating. But God’s promise remains the same. He goes with us. He guides us. He brings us back in His time.

If you’re entering a new chapter, hold onto God’s words to Jacob. You are not walking into the unknown alone.
