The same passage that says that homosexuals cannot inherit the kingdom of God also says that fornicators, adulterers, and drunkards cannot inherit the kingdom of God (I Corinthians 6:9-10). You sinned, yes, but you act like that sin is permanent. If you read the next verse (I Corinthians 6:11), you will find that the church in Corinth had members who were former fornicators, adulterers, drunkards, and even homosexuals. These people gave up their sins to be Christians. There is no reason you cannot also give up your sins and return to God.
