I liked the way you handled a heckler

Question:

I just read something that the minister wrote about a question where somebody asked about masturbation and prostitution. The guy got mad at being corrected and chastised the minister. He said that he was judging him and called him a liar, but he didn't say that. Meanwhile, the minister highlighted the man's own quote and showed it back to him. I like the way he handled that heckler. I like how he corrected him on the missed quote because it's a quote I've heard my whole life and thought was biblical. Now I know better, so thank you for correcting that man and thereby correcting me. I'm sorry he was such a pain to you, but I'm glad you kept your cool and corrected him with chapter and verse. My belief is that if somebody's going to teach from the Bible, they had better be correct.

May the God of Israel bless you and keep you.

Answer:

I'm glad the answer helped you in several ways. I try to keep in mind, "Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen" (I Peter 4:11).
