How do you know if you were a victim of witchcraft?

The Bible consistently describes witchcraft as fakery. The very word in the Hebrew language means a person who obscures or clouds another person's sight and acts covertly. In other words, witchcraft is the practice of deceiving other people. In the New Testament, the word for sorcery is the same word for a drug user. Again, it by the deceptiveness of drugs that a person is made to appear to have powers.

It is little wonder since Satan is the father of lies. "You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it" (John 8:44). So it isn't surprising that those who practice sinful things, such as witchcraft do so on the basis of lies. "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works" (II Corinthians 11:13-15). Satan has no real power. He only has the power of deception.

The only way you could be a victim of witchcraft is if you allow yourself to be deceived in believing that a person has power.
