Episcopals Approve Transgender Clergy

"In a separate vote Monday, the full convention approved new anti-discrimination language for transgender clergy candidates and church members. Some dioceses already ordain transgender people or elect them to positions of parish leadership. But advocates for the amendment argued that they needed an explicited statement of acceptence as churchwide policy."

The push came because the Bible, which they once claimed to follow, clearly states that the practice of transgender (pretending to be a different sex than your genes) is sinful. "A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman's garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the LORD your God" (Deuteronomy 22:5). Transgenderism doesn't limit itself to just clothing these days. Surgical modification to make a person look like the opposite gender and the altering of hormones to cause the body to appear to have characteristics of the opposite gender is now fashionable.

What is worse is that men actually think they can legislate morality. Right and wrong are not up for votes; they are fixed commodities that do not change. As God warned, "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!" (Isaiah 5:20-21).
