Did Jesus enter the holy of holies twice?

Question:

Did Jesus enter the holy of holies twice?

Answer:

The writer of Hebrews mentions that Jesus entered the true holy of holies, that is he entered into heaven.

"For Christ did not enter a holy place made with hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; nor was it that He would offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the holy place year by year with blood that is not his own" (Hebrews 9:24-25).

Unlike the High Priest under the Law of Moses, his entrance did not have to be repeated because he resides in heaven. His sacrifice does not have to be offered repeatedly. Also, under the Old Law, the High Priest could only enter the holy of holies in the tabernacle or the temple after making two offerings. "Now when these things have been so prepared, the priests are continually entering the outer tabernacle performing the divine worship, but into the second, only the high priest enters once a year, not without taking blood, which he offers for himself and for the sins of the people committed in ignorance" (Hebrews 9:6-7). The first offering was for the sins the High Priest committed that year and the second was offered for the sins of the people. However, Jesus had no sins, so there was only one sacrifice needed and one entrance.
