Can I ask why you have not answered some of my questions?

There is one of me. That's it. There is no staff here. I hold down a full-time job as a preacher plus work two part-time jobs to make ends meet. Each day I try to answer at least one or two questions. A few days I actually can spend some time answering several. My queue of questions currently stands at 479 questions. This doesn't count the private questions I answer that are too personal to post, the critical questions that I try to handle directly, and the phone calls that come in. The questions come in at a rate far greater than I can answer. I do what I can, but there are limits to what I can do. I have a few friends who tackle some of the questions, but they usually manage about one a week or so.

Another congregation has offered to help support my work. If that goes through, I should be able to back off on one of my part-time jobs to give me a few more hours per week. But given the popularity of the site, I suspect that I'll remain swamped because of a greater influx of questions. Right now the main site receives about 8,000 visitors per day, and the two sites dedicated to teenagers get about 2,000 visitors per day combined.

I'm not complaining. I enjoy answering the questions, but it does help if people understand what is going on behind the scenes.
