Good and Evil

by Zeke Flores

Most people don't make a deliberate choice between good and evil. That is, they don’t sit there thinking about the moral implications of a choice; they simply do what they want, and then when it turns bad, they’re surprised at "what happened." But everything we do is a choice in some way. The choice is between what we ought to do and what we want to do. The trick is wanting what we ought to do!

"For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil I do not want" (Romans 7:19).
