Your information on Matthew 27:63 helped me understand better

Question:

Hi,

I was doing my daily reading this morning and became a little angry at Matthew 27:63, where the Pharisees called Jesus an "imposter." Continuing the reading, the sentence said, "This last deception will be worse than the first." This got me wondering, what did the chief priests and Pharisees mean by "the first".

I searched the Internet for help on this and came across your website. Your explanation did help me.

I wanted to know a bit more about who you were so I checked out the "Who We Are" page. I was very much pleased and impressed by your ethos, I totally agree with the points you make about the physical and spiritual needs of man.

As our Lord said, "I am the resurrection", "I am the way" and "I am the bread of life." We have the Word of God. It's the most important thing we have been given and this must never be forgotten. I'm sure your community appreciates you.

God bless.
