Letters of Advice to Newlyweds
by Jeffrey W. Hamilton
It has been my privilege to help many couples prepare for a lifetime commitment to one another in marriage. It is a joy to see the flames of young love ignite. Unfortunately, cold reality will sometimes put out the flame before it has a chance to firmly establish itself.
I've started writing letters to one couple who joined their lives together in marriage, but who live a distance from me. As I was typing, I realize that the advice I was giving and planning to give in upcoming letters is important to other couples as well. Even though these letters were not addressed to you, I hope you will benefit from them as you read them.
If there is a topic you would like addressed, write to me at minister@lavistachurchofchrist.org.
