They should give us something to be really excited about!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;<em>Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven <strong>for you<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; (I Peter 1:3-4 ESV).<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;<em>According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven <strong>for you<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; (I Peter 1:3-4 ESV).<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;&#8230; <em>set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought <strong>to you<\/strong> at the revelation of Jesus Christ<\/em>&#8221; (I Peter 1:13 ESV).<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;<em>He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times\u00a0<strong>for the sake of you<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; (I Peter 1:20 ESV).<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;&#8216;<em>But the word of the Lord remains forever.&#8217; And this is the word which was preached <strong>to you<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; (I Peter 1:25 NASB).<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;<em>&#8216;Behold, I lay in Zion a choice stone, a precious corner stone, and he who believes in Him will not be disappointed.&#8217; The precious value, then, is <strong>for you<\/strong>\u00a0who believe<\/em> &#8230;&#8221; (I Peter 2:6-7 NASB).<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;<em>For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered <strong>for you<\/strong>, leaving you an example <strong>for you <\/strong>to follow in His steps<\/em> &#8230;&#8221; (I Peter 2:21 NASB).<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;<em>But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is <strong>in you <\/strong><\/em>&#8230;&#8221; (I Peter 3:15 NKJV).<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;<em>If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests <strong>upon you<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; (I Peter 4:14 NKJV).<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;&#8230;<em> casting all your care upon Him, for He cares <strong>for you<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; (I Peter 5:7 NKJV).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Our Response<\/h2>\n<blockquote>\n<p>by Frances R.
