One of the men was Matthew Bassford. He posted one entitled &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lavistachurchofchrist.org\/cms\/insecurity\/\">Insecurity<\/a>&#8221; that I very much relate to, and I wanted to know if I could find any more of his lessons.<\/p>\n<p>I was raised in the Lord&#8217;s church and baptized in my youth (not because my friends were doing it or because of pressure from my parents). I did it again twice over the years, but I have had a problem with perfectionism all my life, especially spiritually, concerning belief and faith. I seem to believe that if I don&#8217;t do the steps of salvation perfectly, maybe God will not accept it. That probably doesn&#8217;t agree with Scripture, but there it is. I have also always been hard on myself and not shown myself much grace sometimes.<\/p>\n<p>I would appreciate any more lessons from Brother Bassford and from you if you want to share.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Answer:<\/h2>\n<p>Sadly, Brother Bassford won&#8217;t be writing any new articles. He passed away at a relatively young age from ALS a few years ago. However, his website is still preserved online (&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/hisexcellentword.blogspot.com\/\">His Excellent Word<\/a>&#8220;).
