But you say, &#8216;How have we wearied him?&#8217; By saying, &#8216;Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and he delights in them.&#8217; Or by asking, &#8216;Where is the God of justice?&#8217;<\/em>&#8221; (Malachi 2:17).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Your words have been hard against me, says the LORD. But you say, &#8216;How have we spoken against you?&#8217; You have said, &#8216;It is vain to serve God. What is the profit of our keeping his charge or of walking as in mourning before the Lord of hosts? And now we call the arrogant blessed. Evildoers not only prosper but they put God to the test and they escape&#8217;<\/em>&#8221; (Malachi 3:13-15).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Acknowledging God<\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;<em>Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?<\/em>&#8221; (Genesis 18:25).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he<\/em>&#8221; (Deuteronomy 32:4).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Blessed be the Lord who has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he promised. Not one word has failed of all his good promise, which he spoke by Moses his servant<\/em>&#8221; (I Kings 8:56).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness<\/em>&#8221; (Psalms 33:4).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity<\/em>&#8221; (Psalms 98:9).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;&#8230; i<em>t is impossible for God to lie<\/em> &#8230;&#8221; (Hebrews 6:18).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful<\/em>&#8221; (Hebrews 10:23).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Trusting God<\/h2>\n<p>Based on all we know of God from Scripture, we can say with complete confidence, &#8220;Even when I do not understand why God does all that He does, I trust He has His reasons, and they are good.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>People have been railing at their Creator and Provider since Bible times.
