Why did You ever send me? Ever since I came to Pharaoh to speak in Your name, he has done harm to this people, and You have not rescued Your people at all&#8217;<\/em>&#8221; (Exodus 5:22-23).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Moses does something we&#8217;re often afraid to do: he tells God exactly how frustrated he is. He doesn&#8217;t sugarcoat it. He doesn&#8217;t pretend everything is fine. He brings the raw, honest version of himself to God. And God doesn&#8217;t rebuke him for it.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes obedience makes things look worse before they get better. Moses did exactly what God told him to do, and the situation looked like it was falling apart. That&#8217;s a tough place to be. It&#8217;s easy to assume you misheard God or that He&#8217;s not paying attention. But this moment shows that confusion and faith can exist in the same heart. God can handle your questions. He can handle your disappointment. What He wants is your honesty.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re in a circumstance where obedience hasn&#8217;t produced the results you expected, don&#8217;t hide your frustration from God. Bring it to Him. He already knows.
