If something is not eternal, then it must have come into existence at some point in time. The universe came into existence at a point in time. Modern scientists call it the “big bang.” Thus, the universe is not eternal, but came into existence at a point in time.<\/p>\n
Now, what caused <\/b>the universe to come into existence? They say the Big Bang, but what caused the Big Bang? Assuming the Big Bang is true, what caused it? What blew up? What caused the material to exist that blew up? And what caused the material to blow up?<\/p>\n
After this material blew up and scattered, what caused the material that formed our planet to be so lucky as to fall into the right position, just the right distance from a sun and a moon with just the right crust and just the right conditions for water and just the right conditions to bring life and variety of life forms with just the right conditions to also form a sustainable food source to sustain the original life form and with the right conditions for the original life form to replicate itself and procreate without an intelligent guide and influence? It doesn’t happen every day, so that the process can be observed and then repeated in a lab.<\/p>\n
It is a fact that life can only come from life. Intelligence with moral conscience can only come from intelligence with moral conscience. To say it all happened by a natural process without a life source, and without an intelligent guide, is not “science” (knowledge). It is just a wishful fairytale.<\/p>\n
Not only must we have an adequate cause that is eternal and intelligent, but we also have to have an adequate cause for the testimony of the Bible. The Bible actually gives an adequate cause: “In the beginning GOD created the heavens and the earth<\/em>” (Genesis 1:1ff). Everything that begins to exist must have an adequate cause. Only God did not begin to exist.
