I hope you’re doing well. I have a question. A brother stood up in church to confess that the reason he got baptized was to marry a sister in the congregation, not that he was convinced that it would give him salvation.<\/p>\n
He requested that he be baptized again since, after marriage and spending time in Bible study, he now understands what baptism does and its importance.<\/p>\n
My question is, should the church conduct another baptism? If not, what should the answer be, considering Acts 19:1-6?<\/p>\n

It seems to me that baptism is a personal choice and not a decision made by a congregation.<\/p>\n
The gentleman knows his own mind and his own concerns. His reasoning is sound, and baptism should not have been delayed.<\/p>\n\t
