We use surgery today to correct birth defects, such as cleft palates or bone deformations. We use hormones to correct problems, such as insulin to help with diabetes. The corrections here are just more fundamental. I can’t think of a reason to object to the medical use of gene editing to treat problems.<\/p>\n\t
