The fallacy of the argument about God’s love is that if it means we will be eternally saved because God loves us, then no one would be lost (II Peter 3:9). However, many will be lost (Matthew 7:13-14).<\/p>\n
Loving us and accepting us are two different things. His love wants us, and His mercy offers us a way out of sin and condemnation, but the terms are still in place (Acts 2:38). We have to believe and obey the terms. He is the author of eternal salvation to all those who obey Him (Hebrews 5:9). Love does not automatically save and accept everyone. If it did, no one would be lost.<\/p>\n
