For example, a husband who doesn&#8217;t treat his wife well will find his prayers hindered (I Peter 3:7).<\/p>\n<p>In a congregation, you don&#8217;t know everything that is happening in a brother&#8217;s life. You are not held responsible for your brother&#8217;s hidden sins. When you know your brother is in sin, then you have an obligation to help him get out of his sin. This is why the Corinthians were scolded.
